We seem to live in age where common sense has eroded. Here is a mentally disabled woman who took $2.87 from the change fountain to feed herself and her cats - and is arrested for theft! Who owns the change in the change fountain when the change is abandoned?
And it seems now that anytime someone questions authority, it is classified as bullying or harassment. Case in point: a student's assignment is to write a poem about something that makes him angry. So he writes about his football team that has been losing, and uses the title Stupid. He gets suspended. Again, where is the common sense?
