December is not just a time to talk climate change (here). It is also a time to reflect on the year that has been. The NME, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Spin have all released "Albums of the Year" specials, and now it is my turn. What better way to reflect is there than cycling through your iPod to see what formed your soundtrack of 2012? So, I will post my favourite records and a sample from each over the course of the next 10 days. Enjoy!
#10. Tame Impala - Lonerism
The boys from down under have done it again, following up Innerspeak with another gem. They seem to succeed in conjuring Beatle-esque melody, in a fuzzy sort of way. Grand melodies placed within electronic ambience.
