Re: Moin's post - very interesting stuff. Would have thought that haggling is not something men do very well or at all. Going to the market was always more fun with my Dad than my Mom, simply because it was over on time and we could get away from the unbearable heat. My Mom once beat the price for a pound of beef down to 10% of the original quoted price.
