Zealous Advocacy?

The New York Daily News is reporting that a lawyer for a notorious Guyanese gangster has been charged with conspiring to tamper with a witness. New York City lawyer Robert Simels (famous for representing, among others, Goodfellas' Henry Hill and the NY Jets' Mark Gastineau) was allegedly caught on a wiretap discussing the possibility of eliminating a witness through bribes or violence. As Simels' own lawyer put it, this was "nothing more than a lawful effort to vigorously defend his client."

Miley in Trouble again

I know she is only 16, but she can't stay out of trouble. At this rate, only Hillary Duff has a clean record.

Just bring some firearms!

Yup - that is what the Juice said! OJ Simpson wanted to look tough, so he encourgaed his peeps to brings some "firearms"! Who says that - why not say "some guns". It would be ironic if he goes to jail after all these years for armed robbery. My money is on him copping a plea. He no longer has the dream team on his side; but then again, he may decide to chance it with a jury.

LA Clubs are safe now

If you were planning a trip to LA's clubs to cathc of perpetual party girl Lindsay Lohan, you will be disappointed - LiLo is swearing off them for now. My money is that she will stay away for a month at best.
