Its about time that deceitful professionally incompetent groundhog be indicted for improperly predicting the weather. After all, if Italian scientists can be jailed for not properly predicting eathquakes, and if Conrad Black could be indicted (and convicted but ultimately oveturned) for dishonest provision of services (before the US Supreme Court narrowed the scope of the statute), then by all means throw the book at philandering Phil! We should not be swayed by his cuteness and furry demeanor. After all, we depend on accurate forecasts by Punxsutawney's number one citizen. It is time for us all to stand up for what need most: honesty in weather forecasting.
Maybe I need to look for a new furry hero. I wonder if Stanley is good at forecasting interest rates if not the weather?
