Ted Cruz, soon to be Senator Ted Cruz is a rising star in the GOP, and one of the bright spots for them this last election season. He promises to bring his intellect and energy to Washington, DC, and based on his past performances as Solicitor General of Texas and other positions he has held, one can expect great things from him. Maybe even a presidential run one day.
So why is this UofA prof. so excited about Senator Cruz. Well, for starters, he was born in Calgary.
